Big Plans, Fresh Routes, and Exciting News for 2025!
After a quieter few months, we’re thrilled to announce that we are hitting the road again in mid-February, and we’ve got some exciting updates to share about our 2025 plans.
A Change of Plans: The Balkans First
Originally, we planned to head to Iberia in February, but we’ve made some adjustments to our travel plans for 2025. Instead of heading south, we’ll explore the Balkans before summer. Spring is the perfect time to visit this region, with its lush landscapes, moderate temperatures, and endless opportunities for exploration. With a Morocco expedition planned for November, it also made more sense to save Iberia for later in the year, avoiding an unnecessary back-and-forth.

Whether you’re from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, or Serbia, we’d love to hear from you. What are the must-visit destinations in your country? Hidden gems, epic trails, cultural treasures, or mouthwatering local cuisine - we want it all! The rest of our year is shaping up to be equally exciting. In July and August, we’ll fulfill a long-time dream of exploring Iceland’s dramatic wilderness. Then, in September and October, we’ll venture into Iberia to soak up the culture, coastlines, and off-road adventures of Spain and Portugal.
One highlight of our year, however, is planned for November: an expedition to Morocco! This trip is all about exploring iconic landscapes, from the sweeping dunes of the Sahara to rugged mountain passes and ancient medinas. Morocco has long been a dream destination for us, and we’re especially excited to join forces with other overlanders for this adventure. Traveling in convoy will allow us to tackle some of the more challenging trails together, share stories around the campfire, and experience Morocco’s vibrant culture as part of a community.
After Morocco, we’ll head back home to spend the Christmas season reflecting on an incredible year of exploration and connection.

From Inspiration to Showcase: Abenteuer Allrad 2025
Another exciting update: our truck builder, Twiga, has invited us to showcase our home on wheels at Abenteuer Allrad, a big off-road and overlanding fair, this June 18th to 22nd in Bad Kissingen!
This is a special moment for us. Over the past three years, we’ve attended Abenteuer Allrad as visitors, drawing inspiration from the incredible rigs on display. Many of the ideas we discovered there played a role in shaping our own build. Now, we have the chance to give back by sharing our truck and our story with others.
